Okay–maybe you are not a tech geek and don’t know how to code websites or apps, but you sure know how to use them. Then this could be the best work-from-home job for you!

When companies and developers are creating new or updated websites or apps, they need some ordinary humans to test them for errors or flaws in functionality. Your job would be to go to the test version of a website or app as an everyday person with no tech knowledge and see if the site works properly.

What the developer wants to know is: Does the app or website do what it is intended to do? Do the links fail? Or lead to incorrect pages? Are there “bugs” on the site that do things you don’t understand? Is it easy to use? If you were an real visitor to the site would you click off and go somewhere else online because it was too frustrating to use?

These are the kinds of questions and the types of problems that website testers are asked to find before the site is launched.

What you need: a newish computer or Smart Phone with fast internet access. You should also be fluent enough in English to follow written instructions and report online on any problems you find.
