Tips for you

Never pay to get a job. Never. If a company asks for payment or a deposit or a “membership fee” or something similar they are out to con you and get your money. You will end up poorer — not richer. And it is unlikely that you will land a suitable job.

ALWAYS check the reviews of any company you are considering working for or working with to learn both the good stuff and the awful truth about that company. Search on Google for “employee reviews”. Beyond the company’s basic Good/Not so Good/Bad reputation, find out how often they pay and how promptly. Are their work schedules reasonable? Do they say one thing and do another?

Part-time or full-time

Many these work-from-home jobs are NOT 9-to-5 jobs. They are side hustles or gigs or part time or freelance. Whatever you call it, the work comes and goes and the payments do, too. You may want to sign up with several companies to give yourself a steadier stream of income.

If you are a Senior, you know that age discrimination exists. A lovely thing about the internet is that no one really has to know how old or young you look unless you want them to. Companies, however, may be able to find out your actual age so big lies aren’t recommended. One way to combat age discrimination is to offer to work odd hours or you can bypass the issue altogether and set up your own online business.
